Many of our customers complain to us that their residence has been sinking or lowering gradually over time. This is due to the soils under the foundation not giving proper support to the structure. This is normally brought about on the long term by high water tables affecting the load-bearing qualities of soils that are quite often man made fill of unknown consistency. These load-bearing capabilities can be increased by injecting a sand/cement grout from the surface down to proper load-bearing sub-strata. This procedure is known as pressure grouting, or grout injection. Once load bearing discrepancies are corrected, soils will once again properly support the structure.
What we do:
Pressure grouting applications are used for stabilizing foundations, floor slabs, as well as settling swimming pools. It is also used for filling and stabilizing cavitations behind seawalls.
The Finished Product:
Once we stabilize the foundation and ensure that the structure is sound, and not sinking, the building will be safe, and should continue to remain stable for years to come.
